Getting started with PSG.
PSG works with a wide range of clients across Muskoka and the surrounding region. If your project needs a licensed P.Eng and you want someone who communicates clearly and meets your timeline, you’re in the right place.
The Process
Initial Call
Call or email with the basics — what you’re building, where it is, and what you’re trying to accomplish. You don’t need to have everything figured out. A rough description of your project is enough to get the conversation started.
Scope Review & Quote
We will review your project, ask any clarifying questions, and provide a clear scope of work with a quote. No ambiguous pricing — you’ll know what’s included before anything moves forward. Most quotes are turned around within a few business days.
Design & Engineering
Once the scope is agreed on, PSG gets to work. This is where the structural analysis, calculations, and drawing production happen. We stay in contact throughout — if questions come up or the design evolves, you hear about it right away, not at the end.
Delivery & Stamp
You receive stamped, sealed drawings from a licensed P.Eng, ready for permit submission or contractor use. If revisions come up during construction, PSG is available to support — the relationship doesn’t end at delivery.
FAQ
-
It depends on the scope. A simple structural review is priced differently than full drawings for a new cottage build. PSG provides clear quotes before any work begins — no ambiguous pricing. Call or email with your project details and we will give you a straightforward estimate.
-
Turnaround depends on complexity and current workload. For straightforward residential projects, expect a few weeks from scope agreement to delivery. PSG is upfront about timelines during the quoting stage — if your project has a hard deadline, flag it early and we will do our best to accommodate.
